o Research Fellow at University of Surrey (CCSR/ICS) (June 2009 - Present)
I am currently working for the EU-JP iKaaS project (www.ikaas.com) which started in October 2014. In this project I am acting as the overall project manager and project coordinator for ICS, coordinating the contributions of other involved researchers, while also focusing technically on the knowledge driven cloud optimization aspects. I am also working for the EU TagItSmart project (www.tagitsmart.eu) acting as the project coordinator for ICS while also being technically involved in the architectural aspects.
§ I worked for the EU iCore project (http://www.iot-icore.eu/) where I also served as the project coordinator for ICS (June 2013 - September 2014), being technically involved in knowledge driven device discovery and also acting as task leader at the project level.
§ I worked for the EU UniverSelf project (http://www.univerself-project.eu/) where I also served as the project coordinator for ICS (September 2010 – October 2013), being also technically involved in autonomic admission control, energy efficient traffic engineering and coordination of network functionalities for network stability and also acting as task leader at the project level.
§ I worked for the EPSRC Mobile VCE Core 5 Flexible networks project (www.mobilevce.com/) and the EU 4WARD project (http://www.4ward-project.eu/) (June 2009 – August 2010) where I was technically involved in verification of protocols and virtualized architectures.
o Research Fellow at University College London (January 2008 - September 2008)
My work included technical contributions to the EU EMANICS project (http://www.emanics.org/) and EU ENTHRONE project (http://www.enthrone.org/) in the areas of autonomic/dynamic service management and offline traffic engineering.
o Research Fellow at University of Surrey (CCSR), (September 2006 - December 2007)
Same as above
o While a PhD student I was also involved in the following projects
§ EU AGAVE project (http://www.ist-agave.org/), working on online routing for peer-to-peer approaches (December 2005 - August 2006).
§ EU MESCAL project (http://www.ist-mescal.org/), working on admission control for intra- and inter-domain traffic (November 2002 - August 2005).
§ EU TEQUILA project (http://www.ist-tequila.org/), providing simulation support for dynamic service management components (January 2002 - June 2002).
o In 1999 I did a short work placement for 3 months at the Public Power Corporation in Greece (June 1999 - August 1999)
