Measurement of Physical Properties on Airless Bodies

This talk will give a short summary of the work done at the Space Research Institute, Graz in the field of planetary surface sciences. In particular we discuss the problems associated with the measurement of thermo-mechanical properties on the surfaces of comets, asteroids and the moon. A major item will be the investigation of a comet nucleus by the ESA space mission ROSETTA and upcoming new missions to the moon, which should be performed in a broad cooperation between various institutions.
