Abstract

This presentation will include a review of a selection of non-SSC/SSTL papers presented at the 2001 Utah Small Satellite Conference, with emphasis on technologies and missions. There will be something interesting for all teams. Learn about the cubesat craze, what our former customers are up to, why reverend Blessit is interested in space, hi-tech military smallsat equipment, and how a group of satellites can provide coverage of mid-latitudes in a novel way. Some highlights of the exhibition and products on display will also be included, and the presentation will be interspersed with pictures of the event courtesy of Jenny Harrison and Jeff Ward. It will leave you with some pointers on which papers are worth reading, and how to win scholarship awards in next year's student competition.
