"Modelling Dynamic Reconfiguration" - Tuesday, the 10th of August, at 11 am in the Seminar room.


A model, called Circal to describe computing structures which may evolve through time, is presented. The language of the model may be imagined as a hardware programming language allowing dynamically changing structures to be represented and compiles into FPGA realisations.

This work may have application in satellites where weight and power restrictions exist and where the hardware may need to autonomously adapt to a changing environment.
