About Me

I am a lecturer in the Centre for Communication Systems Research (CCSR), which is part of the Electronic Engineering department at the University of Surrey. I previously obtained my PhD from CCSR in 2001, and following some work as a research fellow, I was appointed as a lecturer in 2003.

My current areas of research include video compression, video communications, and video/image processing. See my publications page for more details about my research. Also, see the I-lab homepage for more details about some of the topics that we are working on.
