"Nnnnaaarrghhh. There's nuffing coming out."
Opinions differ why Richard Clarke is often refered to as 'SB'. The oldest tradition goes back to his first week of employment. His soldering iron sponge being dry, he was faced with the awesome intellectual challenge of extracting water from the irrigation bottle.
Now, although connecting up a 200 chip logic system has never presented him with much trouble, any mechanism (involving hydraulics or not) is utterly beyond his comprehension. Upon discovering this, his initially apprehensive collegues devised the epithet 'Super Brain'.
