NT woodland with fine views across the deepest of Surrey countryside.

Amelanchiers on Hydon's Ball were planted by garden designer and photographer Gertrude Jekyll (1843-1932), who lived nearby at Munstead Wood.

At the top is a memorial to the philanthropist Octavia Hill (1838-1912), a co-founder of the National Trust.
