Mostly developed from a green field site by the River Torridge, Rosemoor
has given the Royal Horticultural Society a free hand.
The cold, wet summer was doing few plants any favours but 'Rosa Escapade' lacked neither quality or quantity.

This was growing next to a label Aster 'Ringdove' but I think it is a
lily (perhaps L.'Destiny'). Whatever, it is also a whopper.

This plant can be seen in the 'grasses' section. I think it is Phormium
Tenax (a variety of flax) from
New Zealand.
