You think it looks calm? Observe, then, the white tops to the waves and the breakers against the shore. We'll just have to circle until the wind dies down a bit. Pass round the paper bags.

Looking back after a protracted and slightly fraught disembarkation. A new jetty is being built to smooth this part of a visit.

The name Lundy is derived from the Norse for 'puffin island' but May is a better month if you want to see these.
