Nazli Farajidavar received a BSc in Electronic Engineering
from the AmirKabir University of Technology in 2008, an
MSc with distinction in Medical Imaging from the University of Surrey in 2010,
and a PhD in computer vision from the University of Surrey in 2015
, working on a scientific research project, Adaptive Cognition for Automated
Sports Video Annotation (ACASVA) funded by Engineering and
Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), UK grant EP/F069421/1.
She has been supervised by Dr. Teofilo deCampos
and co-supervised by Prof. Josef Kittler.
She is working as a research fellow at the University of Surrey, Institute for communication Systems (ICS, 5GIC) since September 2014.
Her research interests lie in the field of artificial cognitive systems, cognitive robotics, cognitive machine learning, Transfer Learning, image processing, eHealth and IoT.
