Spacesearch lets you search for information in thirty different languages. For viewing all of these languages, you'll need a variety of non-Roman fonts to show the character sets correctly. Information on supporting multiple languages on the web, with pointers to downloadable fonts, is available.
The full Spacesearch is under development; this is a work in progress. Check back here often!
If you wish to search content written in a specific language, select that language from the popup menu and click the 'search texts in this space' button.
Even if you are searching the entire web rather than a language space, selecting your native language from the language popup is a good idea, as that will allow Spacesearch to provide a search engine interface in the language you speak where possible.

We built Spacesearch because we spent a lot of time playing with and watching search engines. To learn more about how search engines work, we recommend Search Engine Watch.
Harnessing the power of heuristic programmingSpacesearch searches only public information. That's why it's so cheap.
