I liked SSX Tricky. I played it a lot. The fan tricks video was the first time I ever heard Evanescence, and I loved them.
I'm anticipating SSX3. I'll play it a lot. The Snow Jam demo video was the first time I listened to Placebo, and didn't loathe them.
Happiness? That's only on the first peak. I've glimpsed the second and the third peaks, where snow falls on The Throne and Gravitude puts you on top of the world. That's happiness.

I'll be surprised if 'Schizophrenia' on the second peak ships in the game unchanged and with that name. Remember the fuss over Geri Halliwell's similarly-named and hastily-retitled album?
Why call it SSX3? It's the third in the series after SSX Tricky and the original SSX. There are three peaks on the mountain. And I've read that the gameplay down the mountain is not restricted to small setpieces of fixed courses, but is, well, free.
Three reasons for the deceptively simple name of three.
Fan and demo videos have all been replaced in situ; the Snow Jam video with Placebo's 'Bitter End' soundtrack, the Happiness video with the 'Snow Patrol' soundtrack, and Elise's Evanescence video have been swapped out.
With the exception of the new fan Kaori video, this is something of a loss.
The animated snowboarding sequence in 'Californication' by the Red Hot Chili Peppers reminds me of SSX3. And the tilting gyroscope that also features in the bottom-left corner of that video would be useful for orientation in the game.
