Biography

Joe Kilner studied at Churchill college,Cambridge where he studied the Natural Sciences Tripos for two years (focusing on Geology) and then moved on to the Computer Science tripos for his third year. After graduating he worked for SCEE Team Soho on TIF2002 and The Getaway (mainly on the animation systems and facial animation), at Aspelle (sadly no longer in buisness), and finally at Criterion Software Ltd. on Renderware. He is currently pursuing a PhD whilst working at the CVSSP at the University of Surrey as a Research Fellow. This page is currently under construction. I am also setting up a computer vision wiki and forum here. Please visit.

Tools

All documents are produced using LaTeX and BibTeX. Bibliography is managed using CiteULike and I edit and build in the Kile environment. Slideshows were put together using Beamer and the poster was made using Andreas Jung's poster tools.

Current Research

I am currently working on the iView project where I am developing novel reconstruction techniques for use in the generation of free viewpoint video of outdoor sporting events.

Further reading

I am currently managing my bibliography on CiteULike but before that I organised myself a bit using these pages (which I need to transfer to my new system)
