Research & Publications
My research interests are within the fields of Computer Vision and Computer Graphics. Much of my work explores drawings (e.g. sketches/paintings) and the links that can be inferred to and from real-world content (e.g. images/video).
Recent work explores algorithms to search video databases using sketches that depict both content and motion. Much of my ongoing and past work also explores the inverse problem; creating synthetic artwork (NPR paintings, cartoons) from photos or video. Some recent industrial collaborations fuse HCI and embedded vision systems; for 3D reconstruction and visual recognition of objects/tags on mobile cameraphones.
These papers are auto-generated from the CVSSP publication archive. My thanks to past and current colleagues who have contributed to these works.
