Research & Publications
My research interests are within the fields of Computer Vision and Computer Graphics. Much of the work I'm involed in explores drawings (e.g. sketches/paintings) and the links that can be inferred to and from real-world content (e.g. images/video).
Recently we have been looking at new ways to add value to large multimedia collections. These include sketch based search of photos and video, new ways to visualise and understand home media collections, and visually searching large dance archives by example pose and choreography. We are also active in 3D graphics for production and 2D based Non-photorealistic rendering (NPR) research, which involves the rendering of images and videos in artistic styles. Some past work has explored Computer Vision on resource constrained platforms such as mobile phones.
These papers are auto-generated from the CVSSP publication archive. My thanks to past and current colleagues who have contributed to these works.
